NOTE:  Spring 2010 Conference has been re-scheduled

 

Due to some last minute conflicts with a few of our speakers schedules, we unfortunately have found it necessary to re-schedule our Spring 2010 conference to Saturday, May 8, 2010.  We have also been able to change to location of the conference back to the Alagia Auditorium at Saint Agnes Hospital.  We hope to have an updated conference information and registration package available within the coming week.

 

We regret any inconvenience that this re-scheduling may cause; however, it was decided that instead of presenting a less than excellent conference, and with one of our goals being to provide quality programs, we all would be better served by re-scheduling.

Also, it is not too early to mark your calendars for Saturday, October 23, 2010, the date of our Fall 2010 conference.  We look forward to seeing all of you as we know that 2010 will be an exciting year!

 

2010 (1st Half) Basic & Advanced Casting Workshops

 

Dates for the 1st half 2010 basic & advanced casting workshops have been scheduled.  These workshops will once again be held by our very own president, Pett Allen, Jr., OTC.  For dates, times and all other specifics, click here.

 

The Convenience of Using PayPal

At the request of a number of our members, MAOT now offers you the ability to pay membership dues, conference fees and workshop fees online using your major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).  This new payment option has been set up through PayPal.  If you already have an account with PayPal, you will also have the option of paying online using your personal checking account.

 

Due to the fact that like any other credit card processor, PayPal charges MAOT a small processing fee for each transaction, we felt it only appropriate that this processing fee be added to the regular charges for our various fees.  Needless to say, this small fee does afford you with a convenient alternate payment method.  Upon the completion of each online transaction, a receipt will be emailed to you.

Membership 

    ▪  New Member                            $25.00 ($27.00 if paying by credit card)

    ▪  Annual Renewal                        $20.00 ($22.00 if paying by credit card)

 

Conference Registration 

    ▪  MAOT Members                         $40.00 ($42.00 if paying by credit card)

    ▪  Non-Members                           $60.00 ($62.00 if paying by credit card)

 

In order for our association to continue to be recognized by the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists (NAOT) as a viable state organization, we need to increase our membership base.  The above conference fee schedule was recently updated in the hope that our everyone will recognize by becoming a

member, you will have an immediate annual cost savings and further stimulate an increase in our membership .
